A non-profit organization benefiting cystic fibrosis research.

Cure Finders was founded by Barbara Gray and Jim Deanda as they struggled to make sense of having 2 of their 3 children plagued by cystic fibrosis. A loyal group of friends helping, supporting, praying and more has made that journey a marvelous ride.
The Cure Finders board is made up of; Wendy Atchley (Pres), Kirk Eastin (VP), Kelly Stahlke (Sec), Jim (Treas), Tolena Trout (Dir), Barbara (Dir), Callie Deanda (Dir). Cure Finders hosts two events annually: Vulcan Materials/Food City Make a Break Thru for CF Sporting Clays Tournament and the Storage Solutions Catch the Cure for CF.
Most importantly, the medical research and resultant successes, funded through the years by small groups like ours has raised the average life expectancy of a CF patient from the early 20’s to 47. Current therapies, for example the twice daily oral medication called Trikaftor is making life bearable and livable. Together we are winning this fight!
Cure Finders is in Sevierville, TN. If you would like more information about us or simply want to reach out and talk about CF (or even the majesty of the Smoky Mountains), contact us at deandajim@gmail.com.
